Map use policy

How you may use the interactive map and the places on it, and how paid map access is protected.

Placeholder — pending legal review

The wording on this page is being prepared with our legal advisers and is not final. It will be published in full before any booking is taken, and this page will always carry the version that applies to your booking.

1. Personal, non-commercial use

Map access is for planning your own trip — yours and, on a family plan, the members it includes. It may not be used for a business, resold, or used to plan trips for paying clients.

2. No copying, scraping or sharing

Do not copy, export, scrape or republish the places, locations, photos or notes on the map, and do not share your sign-in with anyone else. Screenshots for your own trip are fine; passing them on is not.

3. Device limit

Each plan can be used on a limited number of devices, shown on the plan. Signing in on a new device beyond that limit may be refused until you remove a device under My devices in your account.

4. Watermark and copy protection

Paid map views carry a light watermark with your account email and the date. Copying, right-click and printing are turned off on the map.

5. Suspension of access

Unusual activity — many devices, automated access or shared sign-ins — may lead us to suspend map access or the account. Contact us if you believe this happened by mistake.

6. Accuracy

Places change. Opening hours, prices and access can differ from what the map shows, so check before you make a long drive.
